New Additions to Our Barnyard

After the unfortunate passing of our beloved sheep, Squeaky, and goat, Danny Boy, we are happy to announce the newest additions to our barnyard.  Morris and Capricorn (nicknamed Cap), mother and son, were donated to us by the Cornell family.  Agnes (nicknamed Aggie) came from a local breeder and although large, still has another year to grow!  We are so happy that they will keep April, our other goat, company for hopefully a long time to come.

Lakota Wolf Preserve

In our yearlong study of “Communities,” we first studied human communities.  We next explored the world of wolves, as they have unique and strong communities, much like our own.  To culminate our study we visited the Lakota Wolf Preserve in Columbia, New Jersey.

Harvestfest

Today’s first day of our annual Harvestfest celebration was a grand time for everyone!  Delicious treats, fun games (created and manned by the Elementary students), and a visit from Disney and Zykar made the day quite memorable for all of the kids!
